The garage (oversized one car), guesthouse (daybed with trundle), full bath, and another large covered patio are separate in the back. The yard has an irrigation system and the small backyard is fenced.

The home is located adjacent to the Landa Park Municipal Golf Course at Comal Springs. This 18 hole public golf course spans 122 acres and contains an abundance of wildlife. The course has undergone a year long, major renovation. Bring your own golf cart and drive it from the house to the course! For the tennis player, an easy 15 minute drive will take you to John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch for premier tennis instruction.

The house is also a half mile from Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, which makes it really close for medical care.

New Braunfels is a wonderful Winter Texan/Snowbird location. It is well known for its German history and influence. It is home to the famous Wurstfest 10 day celebration of polka, sausage, and beer. Schlitterbahn has been voted the "World's Best Waterpark" for the past 17 years.. There are numerous antique dealers, local dining/restaurants, and shopping.You are centrally located in the hill country. You can drive to Gruene in 10 minutes, San Antonio, Wimberly, or Canyon Lake in 30 minutes, and Austin in an hour. Your year round activities are endless: antique shops, wineries, festivals, dance halls, outlet malls, Riverwalk, Alamo, scenic drives, Canyon Lake Gorge, music venues, pro sporting events, Natural Bridge Caverns, horse race track, historical sites, State Capital, and museums.
